Update - December 2025

From 27 August 2025 to 25 September 2025 Council had invited the community and stakeholders to comment on the draft Stormwater Drainage Asset Management Plan.

There were six (6) written submissions received on the proposed Asset Management Plan. The feedback and proposed amendments to the Asset Management Plan were presented to Elected Members in a report at the 18 November 2025 Council Meeting. A copy of the Submissions Summary Report is available in the Document Library.

The post consultation version of the Stormwater Drainage Asset Management Plan was presented to Council on 18 November 2025 for adoption. A copy of the final River Structures Asset Management Plan will be available in the Document Library next week.

Consultation

Mid Murray Council is inviting feedback from the community on the Draft Stormwater Drainage Asset Management Plan.

The Draft Stormwater Drainage Asset Management Plan is available to view in the Document Library or at any of Council’s Offices.

Written submissions are invited on the Draft Stormwater Drainage Asset Management Plan and can be received through the following means –

  • Mid Murray Your Say feedback form,
  • Letter addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Mid Murray Council, PO Box 28, Mannum SA 5238, or
  • Email postbox@mid-murray.sa.gov.au

Submissions will be received until 5pm Thursday 25 September 2025.

Persons making a submission should indicate whether they wish to address Council by way of a deputation. Following the public consultation period, a further report will be submitted to Council to enable it to consider the submissions received.
