Mid Murray Council is in the process of developing its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) required under the Disability Inclusion Act 2018.

The DAIP will set out how Mid Murray Council aims to provide equity of access and inclusion to the services, facilities, functions and information provided by our council.

To do this in a way that will truly make a difference, we need input from our community, particularly those with lived experience of disability.

The Council’s DAIP will be developed in alignment with the Five Domains set out in the State Disability Inclusion Plan of:

  • Inclusive environments and communities
  • Education and employment
  • Personal and community support
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Safety, rights and justice

If you have lived experience, or an interest in access and inclusion, we’d encourage and value your contribution.
