Update - March 2026
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Murraylands Preventive Health Partnership. We’ve heard from community members, local organisations, service providers and council staff, and we really appreciate you sharing your time, ideas and experience.
Community engagement ran from 25 August to 22 October 2025. During this time, we received 63 survey responses through the Mid Murray YourSay page and spoke with more than 30 people through face-to-face conversations.
These insights were shared at the Co-Design Workshop on 22 October 2025, bringing together council staff, service providers and community organisations. This workshop helped shape a concept plan, which outlines the partnership’s purpose, key priorities and guiding principles, and also started planning for how it will be delivered.
The three partnering councils have now endorsed a high-level implementation plan, and the partnership is moving into the implementation phase through 2026.

Your organisation plays an important role in making our community stronger and healthier - whether it’s through physical activity, emotional support, or simply bringing people together. That’s why we’d love to hear from you.
Mid Murray Council, District Council of Karoonda East Murray, the Rural City of Murray Bridge and the Murraylands and Riverland LGA (MRLGA) are working in partnership with Preventive Health SA to better understand local health priorities. Our goal is to help our communities to create places where people can live healthier, happier, and more connected lives. By doing this, we’re building stronger support for long-term health physically, socially, and mentally across the region.
We’re inviting local groups, organisations, and businesses to share their insights through a short survey. Your feedback will help us:
- Pinpoint the biggest health and wellbeing priorities in our region
- Identify which groups in the community need more support
- Explore ways we can work together to make a real difference
This survey is seeking input from those who know their community well. As such, we are looking for input based on your experience or knowledge as a community group representative, or from your professional role within the community.
Your input will help shape future health initiatives and guide how we support wellbeing across the region. It only takes a few minutes, and it could lead to lasting change.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your perspective.
