To facilitate the revocation and divestment of Community Land as a result of an unauthorised transfer pursuant to Section 194(2) of the Local Government Act 1999, Council is undertaking a formal public consultation process to revoke the community land classification of land situated at Lot 949 Pelican Drive, Mannum Waters, CT Volume 6302 Folio 529, and Lot 951 Pelican Drive, Mannum Waters, CT Volume 6302 Folio 530
The Boat Ramp upgrade experienced a funding shortfall, and as a result the SABFAC Grant funding was declined. The subject land now requires the appropriate administrative process to be undertaken to transfer it back to the developer.
Therefore, it is proposed that the Community Land revocation process commence to return Lot 949 and Lot 951 to the appropriate owner/s as the proposed boat ramp upgrade works have not been completed and in accordance with the Deed Agreement between the Landowner and Council.
